Country Shores
Rt. 125, Kingston NH

I have been going to Country Shores for at least 4 years. This is a great small, quiet campground, perfect if you are an adult couple that is just looking to get away to the quiet of nature. It is 95% seasonal, and may go all-seasonal in 2009. The "weekly-transient" sites are located right near the bathhouse and they have just a few (under 10 I would guess). All the sites have water and electric. Their rates are the same for 2008 as they were for 2007. The owners live on site, but a wonderful couple that manages campgrounds around the country for a living runs it. They have a huge 225-acre lake with fishing access, and swimming. The do have a playground and softball field, that is always in use. I'm not sure what other types of activities (besides bingo) they offer since we just hang at our site. Everyone at Country Shores is really nice, and super helpful.

If you are looking for a “jam packed, activity every hour type of place” this is NOT the place for you.  This is the perfect, small, friendly, quiet, get back to nature campground.
